Facilities

Off-street Parking in the shared driveway.

Driveway

Telephone, washing-machine, dryer, vacuum-cleaner, iron, ironing-board, electric heating*, Wi-Fi Internet, DVD Player (80% of the time there's a UK Free-View Sky Box connected to our Satellite dishes... long story!), Radio, Alarm Clock, Typical Kitchenware (microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, cutlery, etc.), linen, bedding, towels, books, board games**, croquet**, petanque/boules**, table-tennis**...

  * There is  a fireplace, but we request that visitors do
NOT use it, for safety reasons (namely that the
chimney-sweeps SAY they can't clean it on an annual
    basis, thus nullifying the Insurance!)

** On request... although table-tennis will be weather-
    dependent.

DO BRING:

We LOVE France, but there are SOME things that WE always buy when back in England. For US, these include BACON (for breakfasts), milk (for tea, coffe and drinking) and normal, every-day, sliced bread (for toast and sandwiches)... ALL of which FREEZE, quite happily !

If you think this is strange, just try eating a Baguette or Croissant after three days. And DON'T try drinking a glass of French milk!

Whilst France boasts many a fine fromage, we tend to buy our Cheddar-type cheeses (which don't turn to chewy "plastic" on Toasted Sandwiches!) in England and have usually found Roquefort to be much cheaper there, too.

And if you're a Brandy/Cognac/Armagnac drinker, bring THAT, too! It seems that the French prefer to EXPORT those!  ... Oh, and they DON'T stock Sake, either !

(New Zealanders should bring Marmite! If not for themSELVES, then for Geoff & Annette! - English
Marmite & Vegemite are NOT the same!)

On the flip-side:

Should you be pet-owners, French Vets are MUCH cheaper! (Except for "Frontline", which is cheaper in the UK!)
