Geoff was born in London but has dual British / New Zealand Citizenship and French Residency.
He's worked in the IT industry for almost five decades, during which time he has assumed numerous roles, from Mainframe Computer Operations and Programming, Digital Graphic Arts, 2-D and 3-D Animation and Movie-Production, through Tech Writing, Training Development & Delivery, Presentation, PR / Marketing, Management, etc...
Before the Internet was born, he owned and ran Lexico-Graphix, a NZ-based DTP company which evolved into Vidi-Print Ltd., a Digital Non-Linear-Video-Editing business that created TV Advertisements, Music Videos, 2-D & 3-D Animations, Documentaries, Training Videos, etc. in Australasia, China and Indonesia. (GOSH, that was SO MUCH fun!!!)
In more recent years Geoff was been heavily involved with IT Marketing as applied to "Techie" software products such as those that were distributed by Binary Research International Inc. (a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA-based company) and Binary Resource (UK) Ltd. (Canterbury, UK), which he co-owned with Annette.
Geoff's major passions include Flying and Photography, although he dabbles in other "arty" areas these days, primarily 3D modeling and rendering, with a smattering of AI thrown in...
... of which he doesn't really approve!
(It's just not proper!)
He has been actively involved with Flying for nigh-on 50 years and Photography for even longer!
(Think Box-Brownie cameras and dark-rooms!)
Geoff displays his 3D rendering offerings on various web sites, including Flickr, DeviantArt and www.OnlineDTP.com (the latter currently under redevelopment, nuch like THIS site).
