Born and bred in Wanganui, New Zealand, Annette is a "dinkum" Kiwi.
Annette "happened" into the computer industry, courtesy of Geoff. Armed with a degree in Social Welfare, her pre-IT industry background included:
Probation Officer
Lecturer in Business Development & Entrepreneurship
Lecturer on a Masters Business Management program
and
running her own company, focused on the development of Training programs and Assessment & Development of Senior Business Managers.
Annette was CEO of the Milwaukee, WI (USA)-based international software distribution company, Binary Research International Inc, for some 16 years, which encompassed its subsidiary, Binary Resource (UK) Ltd. in England.
These days Annette “commutes” between the UK, NZ and France. She is currently contracted to the NZ Government as Principal Advisor - Capability, with the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) in Wellington.
Annette has also been involved with Page Layout & Design and Digital Video / TV Program Production for some 35 years, particularly in the area of Aged Concern, for which she has a passion. For a number of years she created, produced and distributed (totally free of charge) an informative New Zealand periodical called "Dignity", which was very popular within the Aged community.
